HONDA AMAZE Specifications And Features

HONDA AMAZE Specifications, When Honda, a Japanese automaker, initially introduced the Shankara Amaze in India in 2013, it quickly rose to the top of its class in popularity. In 2018, the Honda Amaze had a considerable facelift that gave it a new, modern look.

It is no secret that SUVs of all shapes and sizes rule India’s present automotive scene. Driving the new Honda Amaze sedan, which is simply a refresh of the second-gen vehicle that was introduced in 2018, was extremely refreshing. Although you might not be aware of it, there are numerous of competition in the sub-4 m sedan sector. The Suzuki Makuti Dz-ire, Ford Aspire, Tata Tiger, and Hyundai Aura are examples of competitors. Has Honda, however, made any significant updates to this new model or altered the Amaze package in a way that would offer it a distinct advantage over its rivals? Let’s check!

Features

There are five different Honda Amaze models available: E, S, V, VX, and VX special. The 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder, i-VTEC petrol engine, which has a maximum output of 90PS and a maximum torque of 110Nm, powers all models. A 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, i-DTEC engine that can produce up to 200Nm of torque and 100PS of power is also available for the vehicle in a diesel configuration.

The Honda Amaze has a ton of features including automatic climate control, power windows, power mirrors with electrically adjustable mirrors, keyless entry, and a push-button start/stop system. The car’s top-tier VX Exclusive versions also include amenities including a touchscreen infotainment system and a rearview camera. The vehicle has body-colored ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), door handles, front fog lights, and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Dimensions

Driving through city traffic is straightforward in the Shankara Honda Amaze. 3,995 mm is how long the car is, 1,695 mm is how wide, and 1,501 mm is how tall. Due to the vehicle’s 2,470-inch wheelbase, both front and back seat occupants have plenty of room. The Honda Amaze’s 170 millimeters of ground clearance is more than sufficient for a car of its size. For a vehicle in this price range, the 420-liter cargo space is outstanding.

Honda Amaze Ride & Handling

The steering wheel can seem a little heavy while traveling at lower speeds, but as you pick up speed, it gets lighter. It’s possible that not everyone will like this. It does not feel too distant, though, and responds effectively to the driver’s inputs. One of the better steering wheels in the category, in my opinion. A car that is enjoyable to maneuver through lines is created when you put this together with grasping tires and a firm suspension. During the testing, we maneuvered the vehicle through an extensive roundabout while traveling at a high rate of speed. Additionally, it’s incredibly simple to switch directions, and you may park the car exactly where you want.

Honda Amaze Safety Features

The same safety features are included, including dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS, and EBD as standard. Additionally, ISOFIX anchorages, automatic headlights, a rear parking camera, and a day/night IRVM are included. We anticipate the new model of the vehicle to perform similarly to the previous model, which had a 4-star GNCAP safety certification. Honda could have enhanced the rear parking camera’s quality, which is one area I do wish they had. Although it isn’t so bad you can’t use it, it could definitely be better.

Honda Amaze Verdict

Although the facelift only slightly improves the look for a very slight cost, it does not significantly alter how the car drives or is to live with. The entry-level petrol and diesel models of this facelift start at Rs 6.32 lakh and Rs 8.66 lakh, respectively, while the top-end petrol and diesel models are priced at Rs 9.05 and Rs 11.15 lakh. Prices are all ex-showroom in Delhi. This indicates that prices have increased by roughly Rs 2000–4000 compared to the model before the facelift, which is not a large ask. Thankfully, the car didn’t need many changes to begin with because it was already rather capable. When it comes to providing the best of both worlds, this sedan excels.
